  New dress code at school

  A new dress code has been adopted by the school administration. No shorts or sleeveless shirts are to be worn to class. All clothing must be clean. Pants should not have holes in them. Shoes must be worn — no sandals are allowed. Girls should not wear mini-skirts. This will present an atmosphere more in line with an educational institution. It also looks nice to visitors who come to our campus. All students and faculty are asked to follow these rules.

The idea of "pretty" or "handsome" changes with different cultures. These changes are shown in the art of each culture. There is no general rule for beauty. The study of art presents a good idea of what was the accepted physical beauty of the time. It also shows us how people dressed during that age.
