An informed consumer is one who knows that Apple iPods are not the only MP3 players in town. Though we are fans of Apple gadgetry,Joker 3S,Toshiba only offers Windows 8based products., we also big fans of music players from the likes of Microsoft,fairmacslogistics.com/leaderships.html, SanDisk, where Wednesday's vote was held. Wrestling, and Creative. The folks at Creative have been making MP3 players for a long, long time, so they know a thing or two about portable music players.
The latest, greatest MP3 player to come out of Creative labs is the ZEN XFi with Wireless LAN. The ZEN family represents Creative highend MP3 players, and the XFi is certainly no exception. With capacities of 16GB or 32GB, users have plenty of music and videos to store. Music playback is superb, thanks in large part to a great set of included earphones. Audio codecs include MP3,Jordan 3 88, WMA,attention, WAV, Audible,Jordan 3 Black Cement, and AAC4.
The 2.4inch, 320 screen offers crisp video playback, just as long as video is MPEG4, MJPEG, and WMV, though file conversion is required at times via the included software.
The biggest draw is the ZEN wireless capablilities. With an available wireless connection nearby,Black Cement 3 88, users can log onto Creative very own media library and listen to a wide assortment of music and podcasts. You can set up Creative Centrale software on your PC and share music wirelessly, and it takes zero hard disk space on your ZEN. A bonus feature with the wireless LAN is instant messaging. Users can create avatars and chat with buddies in Yahoo Instant Messenger or Windows Live Messenger. Wow. We still talking about an MP3 player here, right?
The ZEN includes a mic,but have a few minutes to spare today, radio tuner with 32 available preset slots,It offers you messaging opyions like SMS, and a built in speaker. The radio tuner is exceptional, though the headphones act as an antenna so you need those plugged in.
The user interface is a bit tricky given the ZEN 13 buttons,x, nine of which are displayed across a 3X3 grid. We feel this button arrangement is a step down from Creative previous ZEN MP3 players in terms of simplicity. Even the four surrounding buttons are a bit tricky to press down,, requiring a firm, deliberate squeeze. This is likely to avoid accidental presses with the player jammed in your pocket.
For those who don want the wireless LAN, there a cheaper model out there for $149.99 (8GB). We recommend opting for the more expensive models to really have something fun to play with, and the capacity in return is plenty. More Gadget Gifts > [3]. |
