      这是才艺的角逐，更是实力的较量。
      作为湖州赛区小A组的冠军，钱孟欣在台上表现从容，流畅应对，她深厚的英语功底和过硬的综合素质得到了所有现场评委和来自全省各地观众的见证，在来自全省各赛区的142名选手中脱颖而出。她是继2010年杜航之后，成为湖州市有史以来冲入CCTV英语全国赛第二人。1个月之后，她将代表浙江赛区登上全国大赛的舞台，一展浙江学子的风采。  
      中央电视台“希望之星”英语风采大赛是由中央电视台主办的全国性电视英语竞赛活动。大赛自2000年创办以来，得到了教育部、外交部、团中央等部委的大力支持，已成为测试和评估学生语言运用能力的重要尺度。能取得全国总决赛资格，本身就是实力的证明。

       钱孟欣所在的湖州典范之家，是湖城一家民间英语专业辅导机构。进入浙江赛区的这三名学子均由该机构范光炎老师全程辅导，其中范高已经连续3年进入浙江赛区（获得过省一等奖、最佳才艺奖等）并冲击北京赛，并于去年冲到全省第7名。范高同时也参加了2013年中央电视台“希望之星”英语风采大赛网络赛区的比赛，通过了初赛和复赛，已经进入了全国网络赛区小高组（含小学四五六年级）前20强，获得了网络赛区决赛资格。如果能进入网络赛区前5名，他也将取得进入全国赛的资格，成为湖州继杜航、钱孟欣之后的冲到北京的第三人。
