his backing band
?The Dirty Heads played next and brought a great, laid-back reggae sound to the show. All their music was super chill and you couldn't help but sway to the music. They played all of their hits, including "Lay me down,Cartier Bags," which was the only one I actually knew. Still, it was a wonderful to introduced to all of their songs, mulberry handbags. Plus, on one of their last songs,Alexander Mcqueen Scarf, Matisyahu came out and added his great rapping skills to the mix.
Finally, it was Matisyahu's time to come out. In the darkness, mbt clearance shoes, his backing band, mbt clearance shoes, Dub Trio, mbt, slowly came out to a Middle Eastern melody. They built upon the suspense, playing a simplistic, mysterious melody, isable marant sneakers. Then, Matisyahu walked out on stage singing the opening lines to "Crossroads." From there on out, Matisyahu took control of our attention and never let up.
He pulled songs mostly from his earlier albums, occasionally throwing in tracks off of his newest album. Dub Trio provided a rock-centered sound, bringing a new, fresh vibe to all of Matisyahu's songs. The reggae tracks transformed into a reggae/rock mix; Rock and reggae were infused into the hip-hop tracks,Charlotte Olympia, and so on,Cartier handBags. And that is what truly makes Matisyahu such an amazing live act: the ability to work with Dub Trio to transform his songs into a fresh, new experience. That is also what made this concert one of the best live music concerts I've attended, isabel marant. |
