About Me

Hi, I'm Seonaid (it's pronounced "shona"), and I hope my site is useful for you.

I'm a British native speaker of English. I have a Master's degree (MPhil) from Cambridge University in English and Linguistics and I've been teaching English to foreign students for more than ten years.

I've taught business people, children, doctors, university students and grandmothers in Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and most recently London, where I live with my husband and two children.

I love teaching and I love thinking about language. I study French (my level is close to advanced) and Japanese (my level is intermediate). I also like coffee, sewing and travelling.
